What can I say, Melvin was great from start to finish. We met Strides through a wedding fayre at Ringwood Hall and were immediately impressed with Melvins knowledge and support. We arranged a meeting and went along to the shop in Chesterfield where Melvin set about creating masterpieces with our budget in mind. As soon as we arrived, my fiancée saw a dress and was gutted that she had already chosen hers. Melvin put together fantastic centrepieces, he worked tirelessly on the morning of the wedding to make the room look perfect and he worked with all our demands to keep us happy. I saw Melvins passion on the morning of the wedding when he was working against the clock to perfect the look of the room and many of our guests commented on the fab look. Our wedding day was made more magical by all the effort that Melvin at Strides made. He was an absolute star the whole way through. I met him at Ringwood Hall hotel wedding farye. He was creative and able to visualise and make my ideas come to life. He even went out of his way to show us around the garden on one visit. I cannot praise Melvin enough my flowers and center pieced were fabulous.
I would highly recommend any bride to this service I would also praise Georgina whom I met through strides whom has a dog sitting service . The dogs loved it and it gave me peace of mind that my dog was in good hands.

I would like to thank you for everything you did to make my son and daughter in law’s wedding a very special occasion on Friday 23rd December. The table centre pieces, the cherry blossom trees, the suits provided for the groom and his party, the bridesmaids dresses together with the decorations in and around Ringwood looked amazing. Everything about the event was exceptional and the attention to detail by Melvyn was very much appreciated by us and everyone who attended. Melvyn even managed to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear when he dressed me for the occasion. Thank you for that.

What a fantastic service supplied by Melvin and his team for my daughters wedding on Saturday 8th July. Nothing was too much trouble and the flowers were amazing. Definitely a 5 star service. Would recommend Strides without any hesitation.

Strides what a company all the service was second to none just want to say a massive thank you to all the wonderful staff at Strides for everything you did for us to make our Mother and Father 70th Wedding Anniversary so special the room and tables at the Casa Hotel was beautiful the cake delicious the suits a perfect fit the invites so classy everything was just perfect and the level of detail from Melvin and his professionalism to make it 100% was unbelievable we had many family and friends from the South who travelled up and they could not believe how beautiful everything was I explained to them that we up North can compete with anything I would recommend this company to everyone you will not be disappointed trust me

We atteended a wedding fair at Ringwood Hotel & Spa in Chesterfield to gain insperation for our winter wedding. It was here we met several companies including Strides that could offer a package for our special day. As we spoke to each company in turn it was Melvyn whom we instantily felt at home with. He appeared to be on the same wavelength as us & hada keen eye for detail (which I loved).
From day one, Strides made us aware of the services available to us, however as our journey progressed, Melvyn & Jill guided us & walked through each step to ensure we were clear on our direction. Some might say Melvyn was like our fairy godfather.
The Strides team puta package together which provided our suit hire (there was 7 of us), bridesmaids dresses (including tailoring), the dressing of one of our ceremony rooms for our pre-wedding dinner, the dressing of the ceremony & wedding breakfast room, all the flowers & corsages weresuppliedto and tied into our theme beuatifully. The eye for detail shown by the team was impecible, nothing was too much trouble, every detail had been thought about. I cannot thank Melvyn, Jill & the team enough for the magic they performed. You helped make our day so beautiful & for this we will be forever thankful. G&T

Melvyn Wow!! My daughter’s wedding was dressed for an outside ceremony and an inside wedding celebration. Theme Lemon and Lime, which had to include real lemons and Limes!! A fantastic job as always by Melvyn and his team, which include lovely Anna, the wedding co-ordinator from the venue. It was outstanding and attention to detail was impeccable. We have used Melvyn and Strides for over 15 years and he still amazes us with his artistic flare. He is naturally gifted and always takes pride in his work.
